Lithium–ion Battery Electrode Manufacturing Process Test Solution
Changzhou Hopetech Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2009, is a national-level high-tech enterprise. Specializing in R&D and manufacturing of high-precision test & measurement instruments, we participate in the formulation of national metrology standards. As a leading domestic brand for battery test equipment, we realize import substitution.
During electrode production, common defects such as uneven coating sheet resistance, micro-short-circuits caused by electrode burrs, and sub-standard insulation performance of separators may occur. These defects can directly lead to cell short-circuit, thermal runaway and finished-battery scrap, resulting in huge production losses. Hopetech delivers a complete electrical-performance test solution for the full front-end process of lithium-ion battery electrode manufacturing, and provides remote technical support for global lithium-battery manufacturers

Equipment Role Introduction
HT3542–Y / HT3545–Y Four–probe Sheet Resistance Tester | Front–end Process Inspector
Role: Guards the coating and calendering procedures, in charge of quality inspection for electrode coatings.
Function: Precisely measure sheet-resistance uniformity. Early detect uneven coating thickness and abnormal calendering pressure. Stop process deviation at an early stage, avoid poor cell consistency and local heating, and reduce mass scrap.
HT9920 Electrode Short–circuit Tester | Production–line Safety Gatekeeper
Role: Post-punching checkpoint, final screening station before cell assembly.
Function: Detect invisible milliohm-level micro-short-circuits caused by burrs and dust. Trigger alarm and sorting linked with production lines. Block risky electrodes and prevent self-discharge and thermal-runaway hazards from entering cell assembly.
HT3530 / HT3530A Ultra–high Resistance Insulation Tester | Material–safety Validator Role: Separator incoming-material IQC inspector, guardian of cell insulation safety. Function: Dual-mode measurement of separator surface & volume resistivity. Screen separators with failed insulation performance and avoid severe safety hazards caused by internal cell insulation breakdown.
Hopetech provides a complete test solution for the front-end processes of lithium-ion battery electrode manufacturing (batching, coating, calendering, slitting, punching, baking and warehousing). Co-operated instruments deliver critical quality control before cell assembly. Process anomalies, electrode defects and material defects can be identified in advance to lower scrap rates and safety risks of downstream cells. The instruments support automated production-line integration, covering both R&D-lab sampling and mass-production on-line testing scenarios.
