HT1653 Series Pole Plate Short Circuit Tester
The HT1653 series pole plate short circuit tester uses high-voltage pulses for non-destructive, safe, and reliable testing of lead-acid battery plates.
Overview
The HT1653 series pole plate short circuit tester is designed to effectively check defects before the battery is filled with acid. This instrument uses high-voltage pulses to test the battery plates. Because the average energy is small, the damage to the battery is much less than the constant voltage measurement method (Non-destructive testing), and it will not be misjudged by the environment.
Features
Key features include high-voltage pulse testing technology (50Vpp ~ 3000Vpp), 0-999 display accuracy, and 100Ω/250Ω dual range. It supports detecting short circuits in PE separator plates with internal resistance greater than 50Ω. Built-in standard resistors allow for regular self-testing to ensure consistency.
Application
- Detect short circuits of battery plates before acid filling.
- Check the spacing between positive and negative plates during assembly.
- Suitable for both lead-acid batteries and lithium electrode short circuit detection.
